How to Play Breakout Challenge

Breakout Challenge is a sliding block puzzle. Move the other pieces out of the way so the black bar can slide out.

What is Breakout Challenge?

Blocks are packed into a small board. Each block can only slide along its length. Rearrange them to clear a path, then slide the black bar out of the exit.

How to play Breakout Challenge

Drag a block with the mouse or your finger to slide it.

Step by step

1. Find the black bar and the exit.
2. See which blocks are in the bar's path.
3. Work out where each blocking piece needs to go.
4. Slide pieces to clear the way.
5. Slide the black bar out.

Strategy tips to play better

• Work backwards: ask what must move for the bar to escape, then what must move for that piece.
• Long pieces that block the exit row are usually the key; deal with them first.
• Undo by sliding back if a move makes things worse.
• Try to solve each puzzle in fewer moves the second time.
