Angling is a fishing game that turns your catch into a graph. Catch fish, dodge sharks and then read the graph to answer a question.

What is Angling?

Click anywhere in the water to cast your line. Fish are caught when they swim into your hook, and you move the hook up or down by clicking where you want it to go. If a shark hits your hook, you restart the level. When you have caught enough fish, a graph shows how many fish of each colour you caught and asks a question about it. Answer correctly to move on; fish get faster each level.

How to play Angling

Click or tap the water to cast and to move the hook.

Step by step

  1. Click the water to cast your line.
  2. Move the hook up or down into the path of the fish.
  3. Avoid sharks or you will restart the level.
  4. Read the graph of the fish you caught.
  5. Answer the question to reach the next level.

Strategy tips to play better

  • Place your hook where lots of fish swim and let them come to you.
  • Watch for sharks before you move the hook.
  • On the graph, read the label under each bar and count carefully up the side.
  • For 'how many more' questions, subtract the smaller bar from the bigger one.
