What is Tile Match Game?
Drag a domino onto the table to start. Use Rotate and Flip to turn a tile. Match tiles by the number of pips (dots): a tile can go next to another when the touching ends have the same number. If you have no match, set the tile aside and try another.
How to play Tile Match Game
Drag tiles. Use the Rotate and Flip buttons.
Step by step
- Drag a starting domino onto the table.
- Pick another tile.
- Rotate or flip it so a matching end touches.
- Keep building the line of dominoes.
- Set aside tiles that do not match and try them later.
Strategy tips to play better
- Play doubles (like 3-3) early because they are harder to place later.

For parents and teachers
Dominoes are a classic maths tool for ages 4 to 8: they teach counting, matching and adding the two halves.
Rules & goal
How can you play? Click and drag a domino out onto the playing field to get started. Use the “Rotate” and “Flip” buttons to adjust your domino. To play dominos, match tiles based on the number of pips (or dots). For example, imagine a tile has three pips on one side and two pips on the other side. The next tile you pick has five pips on one side and two pips on the other. You can now place the tile next to the first tile so that the sides with two pips are touching. Continue matching the tiles as long as you can. If you don’t have a match, put that domino off to the side and try the next one.
For math, dominos can also represent numbers. Use the dominos to create addition, subtraction, or multiplication problems. For example, find the sum of two or three tiles. Use the pencil and eraser tools to write down numbers, words, or equations. Use the trash can tool to clear the board.
