How to Play Time-Telling Challenge

Time-Telling Challenge helps a little pilot catch his flight. Read the clock and pick the right digital time.

What is Time-Telling Challenge?

An analog clock shows a time. Click the matching digital time button so the pilot can take off. Settings on the left choose the skill, from telling time to the hour, then half hour, quarter hour, five minutes and single minutes. Settings on the right change the clock style, 12- or 24-hour digital times and whether minute numbers are shown.

How to play Time-Telling Challenge

Click a digital time button. Use the settings on the left and right to change difficulty.

Step by step

1. Choose a level (start with hours).
2. Look at the short hand for the hour.
3. Look at the long hand for the minutes.
4. Click the matching digital time.
5. Move to harder settings as you improve.

Strategy tips to play better

• Short hand is the hour, long hand is the minutes.
• Each number on the clock is 5 minutes for the long hand: 3 means 15, 6 means 30, 9 means 45.
• If the short hand is between two numbers, use the smaller one (except between 12 and 1, which is 12).
• Hide the minute numbers once you are confident to test yourself.
